Data protection

Data protection refers to all Swiss and European rules designed to protect the personal data of individuals, which includes all information relating to an identified or identifiable person.

DGM advises its clients on how to obtain the best possible protection of their private sphere using the many legal instruments available for this purpose. Our lawyers advise their clients in particular on the applicable rules and possible measures when unwanted personal information is disseminated, for example on the internet, or in order to ensure that the various registers held by the authorities (criminal records, administrative measures in road traffic matters, police files, etc.) are truthful and reduced to what is strictly necessary.

DGM also advises companies wishing to improve the compliance of their activities with the rules on the protection of the personal data of their customers and employees.
